Overview
In Google Ads, you can add compelling videos with a range of video ad formats to engage customers in different ways on YouTube and across video partner sites. Available video ad formats include: Skippable in-stream ads. Non-skippable in-stream ads. Meta advertising across Facebook and Instagram also allow video ads to be placed into the carousel ads.

Video settings are nested under Dealership level settings > Video Settings https://dashboard.fullpath.com/settings/dealership/video-settings
Functionality
You can add any video files including YouTube, website, or drive links (they must be direct links only, meaning not a Dropbox link or a URL from the website where the video is displayed).
YouTube links will be advertised on Google channels, while other video links will be promoted on Meta placements including Facebook and Instagram.
Video Types
You can add 3 types of videos including:
- OEM Videos
- Dealership Brand Videos
- Model-specific videos.
Adding Videos
To add OEM videos:
- click on ADD OEM VIDEOS button
- select which OEM video type you'd like to add (If you only have one OEM you will not be able to adjust this setting)
- click on the Add URL button to open the URL input field
- paste the direct video url
- Save
To add Dealership Brand videos:
- click on ADD BRAND VIDEOS button
- click on the Add URL button to open the URL input field
- paste the direct video url
- Save
To add Model videos:
- click on ADD MODLE VIDEOS button
- choose the make, model and condition for the video(s) you'd like to add
- click on the Add URL button to open the URL input field
- paste the direct video url
- Save
* Note you may add several video groups for each model
What channels and objectives will run video ads?
- Video ads will appear only for accounts running Google PMAX Campaigns or those who have Social ads enabled. Video ads are not supported specifically within the Search and Display channels.
- Objectives which support video ads include:

- OEM videos may run across all enabled objectives
- Dealership Brand videos may run across all enabled objectives
- Model specific videos will run only for New/Used inventory objectives

- On both PMax and Facebook, as with all campaigns, not all ads for all objectives will necessarily run due to budget/performance constraints. If you want to help ensure a video runs on a particular channel/objective it may be necessary to set an allocation and ensure sufficient spend.
