In order to complete onboarding and setup of Google Vehicle Ads on your account, please see the information needed for implementation below.
Please be aware, the entire setup and Google approval process can take up to 20 business days from the time you provide us with the following information.
- Confirm (per store) how much you would like to budget, and whether this budget is incremental or to be repurposed from the existing Digital Advertising budget
- Confirm (per store) how long you would like to run VA's, if you have an end date or if you would like us to launch as soon as possible and let them run with the same monthly budget indefinitely.
- Confirm if you would like to run VLA (shopping ads) only, or run ads on the full PMAX spectrum
- In order for us to sync the Google Merchant Center with your Google My Business account - please provide the email address of the Google My Business admin who will need to accept the sync request (this is likely the person or vendor who originally set up your GMB).
- We will need you to provide your unique store code for each rooftop from the Google My Business account - this is needed for setting up the Inventory Feed for the VA ads.
How do I find the Google Store Code?
- Log in to your GMB account
- Google search for your dealership name
- Find the three vertical dots on the right hand side (you must have admin access)
- Select ‘Business Profile settings’
- Select ‘Advanced settings’
- Scroll down to the ‘store code’ - copy and paste into an email and send to your Onboarding Specialist
Note: the store code can be a slew of different options (from all numbers to numbers and letters)
