Our code loads asynchronously means that the loading process of your scripts will not interrupt the rendering of your webpage. This allows your web page to render more quickly as parsing is not paused every time a script must be loaded. This also allows for multiple scripts to be loaded concurrently which is beneficial given that one script does not depend on another.
What does the snippet do?
For Dealers who have activated our Website Engagement solution, the code deploys in-page interactions and provides form-fills for website visitors and shoppers based on website behavior, traffic source, and other collected data points.
For Dealers who have activated our Digital Advertising solution, the code listens and tracks conversion events on the dealership website so that it can send feedback to the platform and further optimize ads based on which actually sent traffic to your site who then converted and became leads. This performance feedback loop is heavily dependent on the code snippet reporting these onsite conversions.
For Dealers who have activated our Audience Activation solution, the code listens and tracks website visits from emails, as well as conversion events on your website so that it can send feedback to the platform and further optimize the emails sent out.
Lastly, the code snippet generally tracks what visitors are doing on site. Broadly, the code tracks which pages visitors view, in what order, and how often, in order to create engagement flows and predict shopper behavior.
