Overview
CRM data plays a key role in how Fullpath CDXP operates. It’s the foundation that powers different marketing and sales tools, helping to improve how you connect with and engage your customers.
Please review each drop down section to ensure that the necessary actions are taken to enable a link between your VinSolution CRM and Fullpath.
Connecting your CRM to the CDXP
- Provide Fullpath with independent login credentials (username and password) exclusively for CRM Link to ensure an uninterrupted connection between your CDXP and CRM. Do not set up the Bridge ID, just provide the independent login credentials.
- Ensure the credentials have access to the relevant reports
- Ensure that the Lead API connection is enabled.
Important things to note:
- If your dealership shares a CRM across multiple rooftops, or if CRM issues arise, custom or extended setup may be required.
- Remove any IP restrictions or contact the Fullpath team to discuss.
Permissions and Reports
Each CRM is built differently and has a different set up for the reports it can create. Our system identifies the best reports and pulls metrics from those reports accordingly. The list below describes which reports we use inside of the VinSolutions CRM.
The login you provide to Fullpath must be able to:
- Create Reports
- Add an external phone number for 2 Step Verification
- (this should configured in a way that allows a phone number Fullpath may setup and use to authenticate, external to your number).
In order for Fullpath to create the reports for Appointments, Leads, and Sales we have to have Edit access to Custom Reporting for our VinSolutions login. You can enable this permission in the Reporting Settings menu in VinSolutions, found in the screenshot below:
In this menu, make sure that the Allow Edit box is checked in the Custom Reporting line for our login, as shown below:
Access to Insights & Reporting:
For Appointments, Leads, and Sales: The login provided to Fullpath should have full access to Insights and the ability to create reports.
Service Access (if applicable):
The login provided to Fullpath should have full access to service leads, service ROs, and the ability to create reports.
Fullpath API for Leads
In order to connect Fullpath with our VinSolution API to get the most accurate lead data, please complete the following steps in VinSolution. You must be signed in as a dealership CRM administrator.
Navigate to Settings > Dealer Settings > Partner Enablement.
Event Subscribers
- Under Event Subscribers, search for / locate Fullpath and toggle the integration ON.
- Accept all of the terms in the Confirmation dialogue box.
Time to Completion
If your Customer Success Manager is provided with up to date logins, which have the necessary access and permissions to all the reports and abilities listed above, then we endeavor to complete the VinSolutions CRM Link setup within 5 business days.
